Contemporary society faces a sustained increase in care needs associated with chronicity, dependence, mental health, emotional well-being, gender inequalities in health and the growing complexity of clinical and care environments.
The Advanced Nursing Research Group (CARING), recognized and funded in the SGR-Cat 2021 call (2021 SGR 00161) focuses its research activity on generating impact on nursing practice and on the life of people and their environments in complex health situations.
We do this with a holistic view that integrates ethical reflection and clinical knowledge, and that values people's experiences to promote their participation in care processes. This way of doing allows us to deepen the understanding of needs throughout the life cycle and favor more adjusted forms of accompaniment, with the ability to influence both daily practice and health decision spaces.
