The Nursing Department was created the 17th of May of 1993 after its approval by the faculty staff. We are located in the Faculty of Nursing and nursing is our exclusive area of knowledge.
Since its approval and constitution, the Nursing Department at the Rovira i Virgili University aims to be a fundamental pillar in the consolidation of the nursing education at our university.
We have a great concern for both basic and post-basic training of professionals through our offer of Masters, Postgraduate, and university extension courses of an interuniversity, interdepartmental and interdisciplinary nature.
One of our main functions is to we promote and organise research groups and research projects within the field of Nursing.
