Marina Gómez de Quero Córdoba is a Lecturer, nurse, and university professor. She holds a PhD in Health Sciences from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2022), with a doctoral thesis titled Influence of Pessaries on Urination in Women with Pelvic Organ Prolapse. She also holds a Master's degree in Women and Health from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2018) and is certified as an Expert in Nursing Research (2021). She earned her Nursing degree from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (2012-2016). She has received two awards in the young nurse category. Over five years, she has gained clinical experience in several hospitals within the Community of Madrid, including the Hospital Universitario de Getafe -in medical-surgical units- and the Hospital Universitario Rey Juan Carlos -in nursing consultations for urology, extractions, and otorhinolaryngology. Additionally, she has worked in primary care centers of the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service (SESCAM), in rural areas.
In the academic field, she has taught at the Universidad Camilo José Cela and at the Red Cross School - Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is a member of the Nursing Council's research awards jury. Currently, she teaches subjects such as Nursing in Youth, Management and Organizational Experience, and Simulation II, supervises undergraduate theses, and coordinates Clinical Practices I. She is a member of the SGR 161 Advanced Nursing Research Group "Caring" at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), where she also serves as a lecturer and researcher in the Faculty and Department of Nursing.
Research lines: Her work focuses on care in various medical-surgical contexts, women's health, urinary incontinence, and sexuality.
